  • Why Should I use Macono?

    Macono has been a driving force in orthodontics for over 50 years. Collectively amongst the directors, there are over 75 years of experience. This experience has enabled us to train our staff in house in all facets of orthodontics. All our work is strictly scrutinised in a 3 stage process allowing us to minimise human error.

  • Can I Send Intraoral Scans?

    Yes. Macono is a digital laboratory. We have an extensive range of 3D printers and our system supports all leading intraoral scanners. Please contact us to see how we can integrate your practice with our laboratory.

  • How Do I Get My Work To You?

    You can call us on (02) 9968 1910, and we will organise the same day pickup from you.

  • Couriers

    We have an in-house courier service:

    For those in the Lower North Shore, CBD, and surrounding areas of Mosman. Mr Wa picks up twice daily, once in the morning and once in the afternoon. 

    We also have Pierre who will pick up or deliver once a day going to Bella Vista, Ryde, Northern Beaches, Eastern Suburbs, Hornsby and some surrounding suburbs.

  • Sydney Metropolitan and Regional Areas:

    We use Toll, Australia Post and other reliable external courier companies. Call us on (02) 9968 1910 to organise a pickup.



  • What Appliance Should I Use?

    We will happily discuss any questions and advise you on appliances appropriate to achieve your desired result.

  • What Is Your Turnaround Time For Appliances?

    Class II appliances- minimum ten working days.


    All other appliances - minimum five working days.


    NB: Due to our size, we can do rush work upon request. However, this may incur an extra charge. Please call (02) 9968 1910 and speak to us to discuss further.

  • Do I Send A Model Or An Impression?

    We prefer you to send us impressions so that we can pour up our models. However, if you feel that your impressions will distort before getting to us in a timely fashion, please pour up the models first before calling us for a pickup.

  • I Want A Fixed Soldered Appliance. Do I Need To Supply Bands?

    You can supply your bands if you would like, but this is not necessary as we have bands of all sizes in stock. Any attachments you require on your bands can be achieved using our laser welder.

  • I’m Not Sure How Many Perfect Arch Aligners My Patient Requires. What Do I Do?

    We require you to send us an impression of your patient. We will then discuss the case amongst our experienced managers and call you back to estimate the number of aligners needed.

  • How Much Do Your Appliances Cost & Look Like (Colour & Design)?

    The price list, colour chart, custom appliance design and motifs can be mailed to you upon request.


    Please note: Mouthguard colours can be mixed upon request. However, this may incur a surcharge.
